129th Wellsboro High School Alumni Association Banquet: May 27, 2006
The 129th Wellsboro High School Alumni Association held its annual Memorial Weekend Alumni Banquet in the new High School Gym on May 27, 2006 with 652 Alumni, guests, retired educators and the Wellsboro High School Alumni Council.

Other Council Members and guests at the head table include: Joan Spencer Hart (1954), Agents Liaison, Marge Mudge Wetherbee (1955), Council Treasurer, Karin Knaus (1994), Public Relations, Atalanta (Lanna), WASD School Board President and Jay Shabloski.
Other Council Members in attendance included: Elwood Austin (1948), Historian, Julie Sticklin (1981), Registrar, Barb Keeler West (1996), High School Liaison, Katie Wetherbee (2006), Senior Class Representative on the Alumni Council.
For the 2006 Banquet the Class Agents for the Classes of 1956 (Patricia Brown Davis, Ann Bradley Serva and Dawn Brought Bell) and 1981 (Julie Sticklin and Cindy Davis Meixel ) served on the Council.

Class of 2006 Reflections
Andrew Cole, presented a impromptu speech on behalf of the Class of 2006 when the senior class president did not show for the Banquet. Andy received a very large applaud for having the initiative to address 652 alumni, educators and quests. Andy is the son of Clifford C and Ann Jorgensen Cole, both with the Class of 1966 and in attendance.
